I’m hoping everyone will attend my session on the 16th at 3:45pm. I’ll be describing the (often bumpy) road that my company, Nesbitt Engineering, Inc., took when deploying Linux in the past several years.

I’m hoping to provide enough information and NEI history that other companies with ideas or plans to deploy Linux will benefit.

Just to let you everyone know, no, we’re not using Linux on the desktop. I believe that Linux isn’t ready for the desktop yet. But, that hasn’t prevented us from using Linux in the server rooms and Network Operations Center.
